Good Prospect Community Art is a group of committed residents of Bernal Heights that are looking to bring more beauty and community to Bernal Heights through art, events and workshops. The ultimate goal is to create and install a mosaic tile art piece at Prospect Ave on Cortland Ave. It will be two 22'x3' retaining walls with an art piece created by Colette Crutcher. Some of the tiles incorporated into the design are made from community members. We host walks, workshops, tasting events and more to raise funding and awarness for our project.
We serve diverse youth populations from low-income Black, Latinx, Indigenous, Asian, Pacific Islander, and Arab communities who reside in the Bayview, Excelsior, Sunnydale, Lakeview and Mission districts of San Francisco. We partner with innovative projects across the Bay Area, extending our reach to youth across the region.
